WARRANTY
NAD
AUTO warrants only long block used engines and used transmissions
for 6 months to their original buyers from the date on the
invoice. Each items sold are protected from defects in material
and workmanship when properly installed under normal use
and service for the period of time and distance to the terms
and conditions as following.
REQUIREMENTS
: Warranties are void if the following procedures
are not met.
ENGINES (All used engines sold as long
block only)
1. Customer must change new timing belt. (all belt driven
engines)
2. New balance shaft belt or oil pump belt. (such as Mitsubishi,
Honda, etc.)
3. Change new cam seal, front and rear main seals.
4. New timing belt tension roller. (Nissan strongly recommend)
5. Customer must re-install their old intake and exhaust
manifolds to our engines because of emission control difference
between Japan and U.S.
6. New oil and oil filter must be installed prior to starting
engines, then every 3,000 miles and retain all service and
maintenance records.
7. A new thermostat must be installed. Radiator must be
flow-checked, check cooling fans are working properly and
repaired as needed.
8. If the vehicle has thermo-sensor, it must be replaced.
9. Heat tab must not be melted or missing.
TRANSMISSION
1. All external seals must be replaced (in-put & out-put
shaft seals or both axle seals).
2. Fill up new transmission fluid same as manufacturer recommendation.
3. Customer must flush cooling line before start the engine.
All V6, V8 and Mitsubishi
transmissions must be installed with an auxiliary (new external)
transmission cooler.
4. Toyota transmissions for front wheel drive must fill
transmission fluid into differential section. All 4WD transfer
case fill-up with oil or fluid as manufacturer recommendation.
5. Customer must used their own neutral safety switch from
the vehicle.
6. Customers have to re-connect external electrical wiring
on some transmissions.
LIMITATION
: This warranty shall not apply to or include any
of the following.
1. Labor cost, downtime, towing charges, freight charges,
rental and comprehensive insurance claim etc.
2. Oil leaks, blown head gasket and over heating due to
poor cooling system.
3. Bent valve, lock up or back fire due to broken timing
belt or wrong timing setting.
4. repair or replacement as a result of any accident, misuses,
collision, upset, fire, negligence, alteration, racing events
or modified to high performance, improper installation or
repair.
5. Intake manifold, exhaust manifold, fuel injector, water
pump, and external accessories.
6. Internal of the engines damage cause by dropping obstacles
into combustion chambers.
7. All Half-Cut ,High Performance Set, Accessories, and
Complete Car Parts Sold As Is.
8. Rotary engines and Diesel engines are warranty only 30
days from date of purchase.
RETURN
POLICY:
1. All Half-Cut, High Performance Set, Accessories, and
Complete Car Parts are SOLD AS IS.
2. Engines and transmissions are sold under exchange policy
only on the time being installed, disassembled, damage,
or kept over 7 days absolutely no refund.
3. There will be a 20% handling and restocking fee for any
returned item. Freight and delivery charges are non-refundable.
4. Warranty will be voided for any unauthorized repair or
disassembly on defective unit without consent of NAD AUTO.
5. Any returned or exchanged merchandise must accompany
with receipt otherwise no warranty will be honored.
SHIPPING,
DELIVERY AND PICK UP FROM/ON OUR PREMISES:
1. Products that need to be shipped are done at the customer's
expense and risk. Any loss or damages in shipping should
be filed any claimed directly through the freight carrier.
We assume no responsibility for any loss, damages, freight
cost and miscellaneous charges.
2. Loading or unloading on our premises is done for customer's
courtesy. We assume no responsibility for any loss or damage
to customer's vehicle.
